Did you check the black wire for continuity?
This wire has inline thermal fuse and, if it was open that's why the ice maker did not work.
Anyway, it's up and running and it is good news.
Gene.

I have a Kenmore Elite model 56532400 with the same problem of no ice the rest in this thread have. I see no LED light at any time. Should I see it with this model? The circuit board which is 4389102 appears similar as does the ice maker module itself.

Gene- Have a KitchenAid KSRA25FKSS00 ice maker that won't fill. Temp is 2 deg., fill tube is clear, red LED stays solid when flapper closed. I have continuity in black wire. Checked for 120VAC between N & L & don't get any voltage. Jumped T & H & got no movement. Attempted to check input voltage to icemaker but only get 54 vac. Which wires should carry the 120 to icemaker? Thanks, Mike

Try to do the following test: 1. Jump test points “T” to “H”. 2. Make sure the ice bin is on the door, the IDI slide is “on,” and both doors are closed. 3. Unplug the unit, or turn off the power for 10 seconds, and then reapply power (it's better if the compressor is not running at that time). 4. After 10 seconds, open and close the freezer door. 5. After 15 seconds, open the freezer door. The ice maker should be running. 6. Remove the jumper from test points “T” to “H”. Post the results. What is the complete model number of the refrigerator?
How did you test the LED?

Gene, Executed the above procedure & it is making ice! Still have to replace water valve because of fill line freezing but don't need ice maker yet. As usual, you are amazing Gene. Thanks alot.

Gene, On 8/4 you replied to me about the led not showing on my ice maker. I replaced the two modules and the correct led sequences showed. I initiated one cycle by a manual fill of the tray but after ejecting the ice the tray did not refill. I discovered that the inlet tube had an ice plug which I removed. All seems to be working correctly now. I do not know if the bad modules and the ice plug were somehow related, or if the plug developed on its own during the time the circuits were bad. I appreciate the good advice that you gave. Thank you. Carl

Gene, our 3-year-old Kitchenaid KSRV22FVSS makes ice, dumps it into the bin, but when one presses the outside lever to get ice none dispenses. The motor can be heard, but the augur does not turn. Any suggestions as to what part may be bad? The water side works fine. Thanks. Originally Posted by: Gene What is the complete model number of the refrigerator?
