My GE Beverage center does not get cold. The fan in the back is running and the condenser is warm to the touch. When the unit was tuned on condensation would form on the inside back of the unit and then would freeze. I replaced the thermostat but it still doesn't get cold. Could you possibly tell me whats wrong?

What is the frost pattern on the evaporator?

The frost isn't on the evaporator it was on the inside of the unit on the back. There were water droplets in a line that then would get frosty. But now it doesn't do that. It is just not cooling.

Seems like a clogged cap line. If the compressor was hot, and now cold, best to verify the compressor is still good as you will need a pro to clear out the clog, but a bad compressor would make the job cost too high.

My compressor is still warm..... The unit has been turned off for some quite time since it has not been working properly. Two days ago, I turned it back on to see what would happen. It was running for over 24 hours. The condensation didn't form on the inside of the unit. Everything in the back was working, fan, compressor (warm to the touch) etc. But unit did not get cool inside.

If the condenser and compressor are warm, the compressor is probably running. I would suspect a bad compressor, or bad refrigerant leak, both rather expensive to fix.

Is to condenser supposed to be warm to the touch also? Or just the compressor.

If the condenser coils are cool, your compressor is not running. To replace the compressor start device, you will need to measure things with a meter.
