Dryer stopped in the beginning of the drying cycle and won't restart. Checked fuse and it's fine. Timer is about 2 years old.

Check for 240VAC at the power outlet. Check the thermal fuse (#5 on the break down diagram) for continuity. Replace the thermal fuse and the hi-limit thermostat (#3 on the break down diagram) if it's open. - The part number for the thermostat kit is AP415996 Gene.

You also might want to take the front off the dryer, and clean out the blower housing attached to the front. Usually there is a ton of lint in there, and that is the reason why the thermal fuse that Gene mentioned has gone out. Also clean the vent hose in the back, and once you get it running be sure you have good air flow coming out outside. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
