Tom,

If you need to,

Move the sensor assembly forward towards the control panel, and use a wire tie to secure the sensor wire harness to the cabinet middle brace.

Hopefully, the new part will have the proper bracket and you'll be fine.

The replacement motion sensor bracket fits like a charm exactly as indicated in the directions.

I was getting button stuck E2 errors with the first control panel so I installed the motion sensor with the control panel that it came with. No more stuck button errors. The first control panel passed the button/led test so I'm not sure what's going on with it.

Everything is up and running great. I don't know for sure how much it helps, but it appears that the motion sensor is enabling the use of high speed spinning where we couldn't before.

Thanks again to APP and their helpful staff. I'm all set now.

Tom,

Great !!!

We're glad for you. Maybe "Gfalo" will see this post ?

If you still have the "defective" part, hold on to it for us, if you don't receive a return shipping label in 30 days, dispose of the part, if you do receive a tag, could you please let us know, we need to get it out of circulation.

Thanks,

:) :) :)

Will do on the return part.

The OP did chime in about the way he mounted his bracket.

Thanks again for your help. I'll let you know if I get a return label.

I did see the post. Would have been great to have the correct part sent, either when I had the problem, or when it was determined I/we had the wrong part.

In any event, what should I do at this point? Will the replacement part be sent and I can return the part I had to adjust to get it working or live with what I have, knowing it isn't correct?

Gery,

We're working on it at present, Keep an eye out on your EMail. You should be recieving a notice from the parts department confirming the part order and shipping information, in a day or so.
