Recently our washer would not spin up to speed. The spinning was slow. I ordered a new control board. It came with a motion sensor. My original control board did not have this sensor on it, but it did have the connector. The new control board did the same thing,,,,,all wash cycles good, but the spinning is slow. I put back in my original control board, but also hooked up the motion sensor that was sent. The spinning did great. It was the absence of the motion sensor that was keeping the spinning slow. My mind boggling concern: why did my original control board not have the sensor, but for a few years the spinning was alway good? Why? Now it suddenly needs the sensor!!!... Anyway, i found out that if you don't have the motion sensor connected, the motor will never get above 180 rpm.

Actually the machine in the washer is getting corresponded with the speed, and that's why as soon as you installed the motion sensor security lighting on it,, it actually started correlating the speed.
