My broiler will not heat up. This also will not allow the self cleaning to work. I checked all connections, some were loose, but after tightening, it still is not working. The element itself looks ok. I checked the resistance of the element and it checked out ok. I am assuming the problem is in the electronic clock control for this model. Any suggestions?

The electronics get damaged from self clean mode. The heat is just too much. You probably have a bad control.
