Hello,
GE side by side I noticed the frig running constantly. Then i noticed the inside back of the freezer was iced. I defrosted the freezer and everything seemed ok for a couple of weeks. Then the same problem. No air leaks. I have been reading thru your forum and have been well educated. Q: If the defrost heater checks out good do I need a Main Board?
Thanks FYI I have a Haier frig also that stoped working yesterday. Went back to this site and now i am ready to order the bad start relay that u guys pointed me to. I took it apart and it rattles like a box of rocks. Just wanted to say thanks.:)

If the defrost heater is good, it is usually the Motherboard. It could be 1 of the sensors, but law of averages, go with the motherboard. You could also replace the sensor too if you like. They are dirt cheap!! Tom ApplianceEducator.com

kayakcrzy,
The sensor you talked about, would be the thermostat?

#233 in the freezer section. There is usually 1 on top of the evaporator coil, and one on the bottom of the evaporator coil, and on next to the damper in the refrigerator, up top left in the back. I would go with with the board. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
