When washing clothes, periodically, the washer stops in mid cyle and nevery advances to next cycle. Is this the timer, or something else

Could be a number of things. Try to do a little more troubleshooting 1 Does it always stop in the same place? 2 Where in the cycle does it stop?
Here is a link to the wiring diagram the important part here is the timing chart which tells you what happens when.
Next time it happens just open then close the lid. Could be the vibration is opening a lid switch which is just making contact, may need adjusting. |

Thank you, I'm doing laundry today and will check. I know previously it stopped in mid Rinse cylcle and did not drain or move to spin cycle. I will watch and see what is does today and let you know.
