Our oven has a light bar that seems to work fine but the gas bar does not seem to let out enough gas at times. Gas is coming through because we can smell it but will not light if I light it with a lighter a ver faint flame comes out no matter what tempature ir is set at. One day the oven will work fine and then for days will not work. Very intermittent. Also the burner lighter does not work most of the time. One day it will work and then not work for days. Thanks for your help in this matter. John

Hi John,

Most likely the problem is a bad oven igniter (#16 on the break down diagram). You called this part "burner lighter".

- The part number for the oven igniter is AP3135265

- Whirlpool 465 parts for replacement parts and diagrams for all Whirlpool 465 models.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool range Model SF325PEGW0
