Will a blown thermal fuse keep the timer from end of cycle?

In a gas dryer yes, if the dryer is not heating the timer will not advance in the auto cycles...that thermofuse would kill the power to the heat circuit in a gas WP dryer, if it is bad check your dryer vent, your dryer overheated for some reason, usually a clogged vent to the outside..

yes the dryer will keep running with a blown termal fuse. Timer will not time out. By the prints & timer control this looks like a safety type circut, but i was not sure. Replaced termal fuse and all is well.

P.S. daughter tried to dry 2 loads at 1 time thus the blown fuse.
