Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/28/2008(UTC) Posts: 29		Voltage at L1 to Neutral is 120v, Voltage at L2 to Neutral is 120v, Voltage at L1 to L2 is 240 but voltage at L1 to Chassis Ground is 180-200v & L2 to Ground is 70v. What is happening. This Unit went dead after self distruct (cleaning) nothing works, all fuses are good.

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/28/2008(UTC) Posts: 29		I assume that you want me to see something in the schematic, so lets assume that I there is a shorted Cap in the filter circuit, you think that may be it, by the way L2 is the high leg because I only 70V to the primary on the Xfmr & 0 on the secondary.

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/28/2008(UTC) Posts: 29		Maybe that what the problem is, this transformer is missing the rectifier circuit to convert the the low voltage AC Give me a break any rectification is going happen on the board. FYI The Voltage on the secondary is approx. 25-30v AC!

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/28/2008(UTC) Posts: 29		Those readings were normal, That is why I was Questioning posibily the suppressor or filter circuit maybe the culprit as far as the readings to ground. I know that the low voltage transformer is bad, I have an open secondary but I only have 80v to primary so even with a good Xfmr my LV output is going to probably pretty low too.
