it seems to be calming as the inside temp goes down. how long should it take to cool to 0. also is there a temp threshold or type action in the cooling cycle, I guess I should say a hump to overcome in the cooling?

I am down to 8 degrees and its running 4 psi low and 175 high side. is this normal? now down to 7.5

zero degrees then pulling vacuum. will let thaw overnight and see if its ice again. arggggg

You still have moisture in the system, however do not use thawzone as it will break down the desiccant in the drier and you will be S.O.O.L. :)

Dump some supco oil in it That'll fix it.

I let it sit all night with the door open, plugged it in this morning and its at -5.4, and the thermostat is at its lowest setting and not kicking off. I am starting to regret this project
