My temperature control will only let me wash hot and rinse hot. Wont allow cold water to come into machine.

Well I do not understand how you are getting a hot rinse, since I don't think that is an option on this, or just about any other model. If you are getting hot water in the rinse cycle then it can be the water temp switch, the timer, the valve assembly or this part here particularly if you are getting hot water in the wash cycle when you have it set on cold water for wash. Part number: AP4028021
My vote is for that board, but you will have to try replacing it to confirm that.

My vote is for that board, but you will have to try replacing it to confirm that. thanks sid. I can NOT get any cold water to machine from any setting. Just replaced temp switch and still doing the same thing, Donna

Just to add my 2 cents...
Donna,
Did you check the incoming water hoses? They could be switched around.

Gene. Done that. The cold water side of the valve doesn't seem to be getting enough voltage to open. Does that come from the circuit board?
