How do I get to the lid switch to replace it? :confused:

I need assistance in removing top of washer so that I can replace lid switch. I have already tilted back the control panel but cannot figure out how to take top cover off.

Sure, for YOU, anything!!!! After you have rotated the console panel back, unplug the 3 wire plug, about 1" in from the rear corners are 2 gold colored flat metal clips, insert a flat blade screw driver into the FRONT slot and pry towards the REAR of the machine, with these 2 clips removed, tilt the cabinet foward and remove from the machine.
