Here is my current issue.
Bought this home 18 months ago
Newer furnace and condesor unit.

During the winter, Furnace can warm the house very quickly and efficently with a large amount of air moving thru the registers. During the summer months when we run the AC, it struggles to cool the house at all, with very little air flow from the registers.

I asked a buddy, he had me check to make sure the wiring had both Furnace and AC wires on the high speed for the blower and when i checked they were. Any suggestions on how to alliviate the problem with little air flow while using the condenser during our summer?

So if the AC is currently wired on high, i take it i need a blower control?

In my experience this problem is most likely the low voltage transformer located primarily in the furnace. when the transformer is shorted the fan relay will close on hgh speed and will provide heating when called for by the thermostat but will never provide the 24 volts necesary to change the furnaces motor speed or energize the contactor for the condensing unit, thus no cooling.
