When I pull out the knob to turn the water on, it just drips in. It worked fine last night and now it's not working. What could be wrong? It just makes a buzzing noise. It spins fine.

TIA.

Turn off your water supply and disconnect your hoses, look inside see if there is any debris on your screens, if so use a qtip or old tooth brush to clean them, being careful not to puncture the screens.

Thanks Nat. That's what I'll do. I did figure out that it's just the cold water that's not coming through.

More than likely it's clogged.

It's not clogged. The cold water comes through the hose just fine. I read another post where you spoke of a valve. What valve?

If your supply is good to the mixing valve and nothing will come out, most likely the buzzing you hear is it "trying " to energize.

I don't see a model number listed on this post, otherwise I would try to find the part number for you, most maytags are on a sticker in the back of the unit, if you lean over the console where the timer is
