Please help. Jess, Is your freezer maintaining the proper temperature(0 to5 dgrs). If so, you want to check the autodamper aseembly in the left side rear of the fridge compartment, You may need to partially lower/remove the light and ceiling assembly and the foam tunnels to properly access the component, once accessible, you need to check the flapper door and spring for damaged, broken , stuck parts. Part number: AP4069713
You will also want to check the air return cover(located behind the crisper drawers) you want to check the plastic flapper door, make sure it free, and does not stick open, or closed. Part number: AP4069841
A better description of the clunk noise from the compressor, will be a better help, it is normal for the compressor to make an occasional noise, when the compressor cycles off. Have you cleaned and vaccuumed the condenser and the area around the refrigerator ? :) :) :)
