This is a stand alone four burner range with oven. Recently the left two burners fail to light but can be light with a match. The right two burners light on demand.

When any of the burner controls are set to the light position, I hear and see the spark of the igniter on the right two burners but do not see the spark on the left two burners. I have cleaned the metal surfaces around the igniters on all burners but this did not appear to help.

Here are my questions:

1.) It would appear that the burner control switches are OK since I get spark activity from all four burner controls. How can I determine if the problem is in the Igniter Wiring Harness (dwg #3, Item #8) or in the Igniter Module (dwg#3, Item #8)?

2.) How do I gain access to the Igniter Module or Wiring Harness? From the rear of the unit or where?

Thank you,

LSchm

Most likely the problem is a bad igniter module.

According to the break down diagram it should be on the back of the unit, under the rear cover.

- The part number for the igniter module is AP2126193

Here are the break down diagrams for the Frigidaire range Model FGF374CCSG

Jood,

Most likely the problem is a bad spark (aka ignition) module.

- The part number for the spark module is AP2126193

Thank you Gene. Would this module be located behind the cover at the top of the unit or behind the larger [lower] cover of the unit

It could be under the top panel or behind the rear cover.

If no one igniter works then it has nothing to do with ignition switches.

Gene.
P.S.By the way, I did not see any opposed replies and the part# PS437415 does not look as a valid Frigidaire part number.
