The display on our oven is very dim, the only part of the display that shows anything is the clock, the oven still seems to work, but some of the numbers on the keypad do not function.
I was going to order the control kit, which includes the display head, main power relay, and the harness keypad.
If I change all that, the problem should be fixed?
TIA

Hi gtbdevs Yes, you need to replace the control kit. part number AP3382408 Be very careful removing the control panel. It is very heavy and if it falls down, the plug for the control panel circuit board could break off. - Here is the break down diagrams for the Thermador double oven Model SCD302TGood luck. Gene.

I fixed the dim panel problem with that replacement kit, and all was well for a couple months. Then, since a self clean, the upper oven won't heat at all. The display panel seems good, the exhaust fan works well. The lower oven is fine.
Did I damage the new control board, or is there a fried thermostat somewhere?

Hello Jeff, It suppose to be a resettable hi limit thermostat which prevents the oven from overheating. It should be on top of the upper oven, on the right side of the door latch assembly. To reset it you have to push the red button in the middle of the thermostat. - You can view the picture of the thermostat by clicking the part number AP2832064 Good luck. Gene.

That reset button was the answer. Thanks! Now how about my Thermador cooktop -- I posted this in another thread:
Every day, the first time you try to use the range (six star burners, two are xlo) all six igniters click perfectly, but there is NO gas flow to any burner. Sometimes for a few minutes of clicking.
Finally, the gas starts to flow to all "on" burners. Then, we are good for the rest of the day--turn the knob, 1 or two clicks and gas flows and lights perfectly.
What to do???????

Hi Jeff
Most likely the problem with your stove is a bad gas pressure regulator. Post the complete model number and I might be able to give you more specific information.
Gene.

The cooktop is Thermador PCS366US, six star burners total, two are XLO, natural gas with a regulator mounted in the kitchen cabinet under the unit.

I am having a similar issue.
It started out with a bad lamp transformer. None of the oven lamps lit. I replaced the transformer, then only the lower oven would work.
I then replaced the main power board only. The panel was dim for the top oven and fine for the lower. I assumed the resistor included on the new board caused this. As the oven was used, the panel got dimmer to the point of being unreadable. The lamps don't work again now either.
