Cold water level just keeps fill. I have to manually turn the water off. Hot water is ok. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks

Does it fill when the washer is turned off? If so you need a new water valve.

Here is the part#...Part Details - GE Water inlet valve, with insert, part number: WH13X81

You need to remove the back panel of the washer, and the valve is on the right side. Take the hoses off and unscrew the valve and put the new one in.

Thanks, Found a paper that has this # on it 175D1550G047 I think it is the schematic for the washer. It give a Replacement part # for the inlet valve as WH13X62. Would this be what I am looking for?
