Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/20/2010(UTC) Posts: 2		Hi I have a Whirlpool, Imperial Series that I purchased in '05. The washer will agitate and drain but it will not spin. It sounds as though it is working but there is no movement.:confused:

Look at the clutch housing (#5 in this drawing). If it is spinning, the trouble lies outside the gearcase. If it isn't, the trouble is inside the gearcase.
