Hello,
I'm unsure how old it is,
Is there an easy way to place the door & switch assy. I've done it before, the switch is not problem it's the wire from the right rear to the left rear. Do I remove the white plastic top of the drum assy? Or just tough it out?
Thanks for any and all help

Are you talking about the washer or the dryer?

Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag laundry center Model LSE7806ACE

It's the washer.
Door switch mounted in right rear corner with the wire running along the back to the left rear side.

Don,

I'm afraid I did not understand your question. What is wrong with your washer? Can you refer to diagrams part##?

Good afternoon,
I need to replace the door switch part #AP204694 (12001514) Switch assembly with fuse. It is mounted on the right rear, the wire slips into a conduit or track to keep it out of the way of the washer drum and runs to the left rear where it plugs into the wiring harness. I'm not sure how a tech would do it. How hard it is to take the top cover off.

Remove the washer front panel. Pull the washer off of the stand. Now you can remove the top panel and access the switch assembly and the wire harness.
