my dishwasher will fill up with hot water, then instead of moving to
a wash cycle, it drains the water back out. then it just hummms.
it's not going thru the wash or rince cycles. It does not matter which cycle i start with i tried pot&pans , just rinse , or normal wash. none of
these cycles work. it just fills then empties....can you help??

can you post the model number for your machine, it's located around the dishwasher frame

Take the bottom access panel off, and to the left of the motor is your drain solenoid. This may be stuck in the down position, either by a water leak rusting it closed, or overheating which will cause the solenoid to melt. Check this solenoid first for movement and post back.

That Was It!!! I Went Home And Checked It, It Was Stuck In The Down Position. I Put Some Wd-40 On It And Worked By Hand Until It Moved Freely Again. Thier Is Some Rust On The Bottom Of The
Solenoid So I Probly Will Need A New One Soon. It Looks Like It Is Part Of A Assembly.
