Ok then either your start relay is out or your compressor one. I suggest unpluggin it until you either have a tech look at it get a relay (I'd replace the realy, start device and the capacitor)You can get a universal combo to check it part number AP3540659. Which would probably be cheaper than a service call they come with instructions to hook them up. If that works then you could get the OEM parts or leave the universal on the unit. If that doesn't actually turn the compressor over then I'm afraid it's your compressor and depending on where you are the cost ranges. We do them for around $500. but we are also in a very rural area larger areas charge a lot more. Nat

yes there is, I'd have to look up the process for you. We find it easier to test with a universal 3 in 1 combo. You might check out this other thread. http://forum.appliancepartspros...continuity-ohmmeter.htmlBut i would defiantely UNPLUG your refrigerator, if not unplugged and it's the start device it WIL be your compressor soon. It will burn it up trying to start. Hope that helps.

It's basically removing the start device/relay and capacitor and follow instructions on the universal. Here's the part number again AP3540659 This is probably the cheapest place to get one, unless you have an appliance part store nearby to get one quicker. You're welcome. Post your results if you would, helping you helps me too!! Nat
