I've been troubleshooting an Amana icemaker. Anyway, when I initiate a harvest cycle by jumping the thermostat, I'm not getting power to the mold heater. Motor turns, trys to harvest ice, can't and then backs up and trys again. Did not test the mold heater for resistance (rental property so I'd have to make another trip over). Is this something worth messing with, or should I just get a new icemaker?
Amana Model #ASD2624HES S/N 50137228GC
What would be the replacement icemaker for this refridgerator?
Thanks!

A new ice maker is the best and in your case the only possible solution. As you can see on the ice maker diagram for this model it says: "mold and heater assembly is not available". - The ice maker Part number: AP4135008

Thanks Gene. So really, no power to the heater is a heater problem not a mechanical problem related to the circuitry and timing switches in the control head? I'll order a new icemaker. Thanks again!
