My unit is not working properly, the fridge & freezer are not staying cold, I have cleaned the condenser coils, but the fan does not turn on, the light inside does, but no fan. Is their a reset button or switch or some test that will spare me the expense of calling the repairman.

You need to locate this part----> AP2111929 as I cannot find a breakdown to tell you were it is. When you locate it, get a screwdriver and turn the dial and see if it comes on. Your refer may be stuck in defrost mode.

Found the timer, in the freshfood section, up where the light is and stuff, the timer is located inside that plastic housing. Look on the underside of that housing, and you will see a hole about the size of a dime with a plactic piece in there, that is the timer dial. Put your screwdriver in there and turn it.
