Refrigerator (side by side type) too warm. Both sides too warm. Things melted in freezer. Manual suggests cleaning off condenser coil, which I did. Compressor is working and is pretty warm on top "dome," suggesting to me that it has refrigerant and is compressing it. Condenser fan is working. I guess the evaporator fan is working, as some cool air coming in at the top of freezer. Temperature in freezer seems stuck at 42 F. Apparent return to compressor seems too warm.
Do you think there is some refrigerant, but not enough?

Remove the rear panel in the freezer and check the evaporator coil. Normally it should be 100% covered with light snow. Post the result.
Gene.
