washer wont advance past wash cycle. timer does not advance. motor does not run. if i manually advance timer, nothing happens.

what about the timer, does the lid need to be shut to drain the water or just to spin
|

The lid switch is a safety device. It would not let the washer to spin and /or drain with open lid. - The lid switch Part number: AP3100001

you were right. bypassed the switch and it ran. thanks for help. will order part you listed.
