My wall oven heats up properly, but often does not cycle on the heating elements again when the temperature drops after initially reaching the target temperature. When this happens, I have to wait for the oven to cool completely before I can get the heating elements on again. I have tried replacing the clock unit and the keypad to no avail. Does anybody have any idea of what the problem might be? Thanks for your help.

If not I would have to suspect the relay board is on the way out. Or the oven temperature sensor is way out of range,at higher temps. Part number: AP4284825

That's what I was thinking based on a similar problem reported here... thread "Amana oven problem". I will order a new relay board. How do I remove the old relay board and replace w/ new?

You will need to remove the control panel assembly, Thats not going to be a problem, you've done it before. You'll be able to see and access/remove the relay board from there. It's located on the back wall of the control area/oven top compartment,on the left side of the cooling fan. *** Just make sure you turn the power off at the breakers first . *** Good Luck, :) :) :)

Sho-nuff the relay board was the problem. Swapped it out, and the oven works like a charm. Thanks much for your help.
