Electric Dryer recently tripped the circuit breaker while the dryer was running overnight. I reset the breaker and but the dryer doesn't provide heat. Any thoughts?

The first thing to check would be the source voltage where the dryer cord connects to the terminal block. If all is ok there then I would want to be sure that 240 Volts is getting to the Heating element. If is then the element is bad.
