Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/8/2008(UTC) Posts: 4		The dishwasher started making a loud howling noise during the wash cycle and it is progressively getting louder and louder. Everything on the dishwasher works fine. What part do I need to replace to make this quiet again?

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool dishwasher Model GU1500XTLQ2 Gene.

If there is nothing wrong then the motor assembly has to be replaced. Gene.

It might just be wishful thinking on my part!! Thanks for all your help. I am sure I will be ordering that part from you soon. You definitely have the best prices. mj04

Can I get to it from inside the dishwasher or do I have to take the dishwasher out from under the sink and turn it on its side?? Thanks for any help.
