Well I don't know why they call it a bearing either. Look, we cannot guarantee any recomended repair will work because we are not there to actually see the problem. We can only give you our best recomentation.
In this case, replace the glides in the "bearing" first before you order a new bearing. The glides have tabs on them and they go just offset of the top of the bearing. Click on your model number to see an exploded view of your machine to see if that will help.
Also check your tension pulley to see that it is not the cause of the problem and make sure the belt is on correctly and that the drum is seated correctly in the new bearing.
That's all I got

That's all I got Thanks, After getting the glides, I realized there was only one spot left to put them. The plastic "front Bearing" , what a bitch to get off, was cracked . ordered the new one , waiting on it. I see now that the front rim supports half of the drums weight. thanks ken

Now replaced the front bearing and glides. Everything looks good except when running it makes a pop or bang at each reveloution. I put on the new bearing kit and grounding strap exactly how the old one was, but the new grounding strap did not have a rubber pad at the end like the old one. Could that be the noise? kenbary

I don't thank so, try checking, and if necessary replacing the tension pulley and belt.
I know you have spent a lot of money, but it is still far less than a new machine or a service call that may not have even fixed things.
