I have a GE dryer, model DDG4580GDLWH. The motor needs to be replaced. I see several replacement motors available, but with this being such an old dryer (1988 or 1989), the connections for the electric to the motor look different on the replacements from what I have. I'd like to order a motor, put it in, and get back to being able to dry clothes, but I'm worried that even if I get the motor that is "supposed" to fit, I won't be able to get it hooked up. The current motor that is sold for my dryer is WE17X10010 and it says it replaces WE17X32. There are some markings on the old motor, but neither of those model numbers appear. I have photos of the wiring and the markings I'd like to post, but I'm not certain how to do that. Do I need to host them somewhere then link to them? I really don't care what motor goes in there, as long as I can install it and get things working. Preference goes to 1) low cost, and then 2) speed of delivery, then 3) ease of install.

I just wanted to see if anyone had any advice on 1) wiring up a motor in this dryer and 2) posting some photos to this thread.

Thanks.
