When I set the temp control to 3-6, everything in the freezer melted. It's running normally if I set the temp control to 7-9. I think the temp control is bad (part #WR9X599). Can I replace it myself? Thank.

Sure seems like a bad cold control, just make sure you get the original factory part.

No problem just make SURE you get the correct factory part and rout the capillary the same as the old one.
