Our oven does not heat when we put it on bake mode. The broiler and cleaning cycle work fine but when we go topreheat the oven, it stays at 100 on the control panel and every now and then you hear a clicking sound. It is a maytag precision 500 electric.

Remove the Bake heating element as far as the wires go and check for a burned wires. Remove one of the wires and check the heating element for continuity. Replace the Bake heating element if it's open. If there is nothing wrong then replace the control board. - The part number for the Bake heating element is AP3856342 - The part number for the control board is AP3760738 Gene.
