My dryer was working fine. I went to push the button to start it and it just buzzes (the sound which indicates the dryer cycle is complete) The dryer drum moves freely as I opened the door and turned it by ahnd and it doesn't appear to be a problem with the belt. I tried holding the button in with the door open and pushing the start button with the same results. What should I check next?
Thanks,
Vicki

Vicki, The first thing I would do is check the thermal limiter (#36 on the diagram) and the door switch (#26) for continuity. The door switch made by Frigidaire is no longer available, but you can used the door switch made by GE as the replacement part because they are identical. - The thermal limiter Part number: AP2108182

Thanks Gene, How do I test for continuity? What tool do I need? Also, it looks like the thermal limiter is behind the drum. Would this mean I would have to disassemble the dryer unit to get to it?

The following article on our forum will explain in detail how to run a continuity test using either an analog meter or a digital meter - How To Check Continuity With Ohmmeter. Yes, you do have to disassemble the dryer to access the thermal limiter. You have to remove the front and top panels and the drum. Gene.
