Hi,our washer will not advance to spin cycle automatically. it also stays on one speed only.

If the machine otherwise works once you manually advance the timer then the timer is probably the problem, but you will have to replace it to be certain. If you want you could clean the contacts and the connection first and see if that helps. Here is the part. Part number: AP3131136
