Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/20/2009(UTC) Posts: 25		Hi Gene...I ordered and replaced both hinges and the door closed perfectly.....for a couple of weeks and now the original problem is back (not closing all the way) I removed the door and made sure that the hinges were solidly seated..they were. Could those springs wear out that fast...I am baffled...sorry to be a pest. ??????????

Unfortunately the problem becomes more complicated. You have to check the hinge receptacles (#3 on the diagram) and in order to do it you have to remove the oven from the cabinet and remove the side panels. Gene.

My Whirlpool appliance repairman loves me! HE said Whirlpool told him there were issues with the hinges..I called Whirlpool and they didn't have any record of hinge issues for this model????
