Hi Gene...I ordered and replaced both hinges and the door closed perfectly.....for a couple of weeks and now the original problem is back (not closing all the way) I removed the door and made sure that the hinges were solidly seated..they were. Could those springs wear out that fast...I am baffled...sorry to be a pest. ??????????

I understand your feelings. Unfortunately the problem becomes more complicated. You have to check the hinge receptacles (#3 on the diagram) and in order to do it you have to remove the oven from the cabinet and remove the side panels. Gene.

I am having the same problem....how did you resolve this issue??? Should I keep dumping money into the oven? My Whirlpool appliance repairman loves me! HE said Whirlpool told him there were issues with the hinges..I called Whirlpool and they didn't have any record of hinge issues for this model???? I\Ordered the hings receptacles....quite a job but I took my time...the only challenge was that the door hit the oven door latch so I bent it a little and all is well. As always..Thanks Gene!
