if i have continuity at heater and switch do i have a bad control board? Not necessarily. You will see in the tech sheet that one of the door switches is in line with the heater so you also have to check it.
if so is there any way to check to see if it bad? If all 3 components (heater, hi-limit and door switch) check OK, then measure from W (NO side if door switch or line cord in white) to the board side of the hi-limit when it should be heating. If you do not see 120 volts the board is probably toast. |

Yes as long as the unit was in a heating mode you measured it correctly.
Only other thing I can think of to check would be the thermistor resistance. If it is OK then it sounds to me like your control board is toast. |

i put in high temp scrub and energy saver dry. no reading. in these modes i asume the white wire is the neutral and the white red wire from high limit should energise board connection so i should be able to get 120 from the board connection to neutral. am i doing the heat right. also where can i find thermister resistance located.
