Here is a manual, there is info on a SE7800 at the end of it. Cannot say how close a match it will be to yours but it may come in handy. Does look like the wiring is different.

Cannot say as it could be either.

First check that the drum turns manually fairly easily.
Check the motor windings with a meter.
Check that the motor is not clogged solid with lint etc.
Check that the centrifugal mechanism on the motor is not holding the switch closed all the time.
Check the switch with a meter.


Be sure to make yourself a diagram of where the wires attach if removing more than one. You would be surprised at how many times people post here with "where do the wires attach" and sometimes no one can help.
