I bought a new upper spray arm. When I attach it to the old upper spray arm bracket the arm hits the upper rack. Is the post on the upper bracket supposed to be slanted?

The spray arm hits the right side of the upper rack where it is deeper (lower) than the left side. Thanks for the help.

Anyone have any ideas why the spray arm is hitting the bottom right side of the upper rack?

No the bracket isn't supposed to slanted. Check the tiered bracket which the arm connects to it could be broken. Also check the arm to make sure that nothing is lodged inside making it off balance. Nat
