Dishwasher will not drain after last rinse cycle, all other cycles drain. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Here are your parts Replacement parts for GSD4260JSS models | AppliancePartsPros.comYou have to do more trouble shooting. Does motor run during final drain? Does the wash/drain solenoid actuate during final drain? Does it drain any water at all or none? When it drains during the cycle does it empty the unit all the way? Note these pumps usually leave a quarter inch or so of water in the bottom of the tub. |

Yes, the motor runs during final drain cycle. During final rinse, all I hear is water swishing around and clicking from the knob. Wash/drain solenoid engages on all drain cycles, except when it's supposed to engage after the final rinse. No water drains on final rinse cycle, drains completely on all others. There is alot more than a quarter inch after that final rinse cycle.

As long as your option buttons work as they should, my guess would be that the timer is the cause.
The motor, solenoid etc. all are OK so all that is left is the timer. |

problem is most likely the piston in te rear filter.in the back of the unit is a filter held in place by 4 screws.remove filter and unscrew the piston that is in the middle.it has a silicone stopper in the piston that should close the hole when pushed in.if it is worn down you will need to replace.
