Last time I used my broiler, a small fire ignited. Since then, my oven won't light. Burners work fine, just the oven and broiler. Can I fix myself?
Thanks,

Remove the oven floor and the flame spreader. Check for 120VAC to the oven igniter (#19 on the burners break down diagram) while the oven thermostat calls for heat. If there is 120VAC then the igniter is bad and has to be replaced. If there is no 120VAC then replace the oven thermostat. - The part number for the oven igniter is AP2150412 - The part number for the oven thermostat is AP2124416 Here are the break down diagrams for the Tappan range Model MGF334BGDDGene.
