Ice maker makes ice, then all the ice in the ice bin melts into the freezer. The bottom half of the freezer is frozen, but it seems the top of the freezer is warmer, allowing the ice to melt. I have a digital display for the temp. of the freezer and it fluctuates from -5 to +1 all by itself. Usually when the temp is on the warm side around -1 is when the ice melts. Could I need a new mother board?

What is the real temperature in the freezer? Use a mercury thermometer to measure the temperature.

Make sure the condenser on the back of the refrigerator is clean.
