water pools in bottom of refrigerator. No water is going into drip pan under fridge. Defroster hose clogged. How do I clean it out?

still asking anyone
I tried unplugging the fridge and letting any ice that was in the system to melt.
I tried sticking all kinds of wires down the tube under the coils in freezer: coat hanger- too stiff, speaker wire-too limp, even got desperate and tried a plumber's snake---all would not go too far.
I tried to stick wires up from the bottom of the tube down where it is supposed to empty into the drain tray. No success.
What kind of wire can I use?

Do not use any wires - you can damage the drain hose.

Using a hair dryer make sure the drain is defrosted. Check the bottom end of the drain hose for a clog.

Using a hot water check if it goes through. If it does not then blow an air under pressure through the hose. You can use any kind of canned air.

Gene.
