In order to provide the most accurate advise I need the complete model number of the washer and more specific description of the problem.

I am buying 3 year old Maytag Atlantis model #MAVT634AWW. The owner says it washes fine and the water drains out. The problem is that not enough water is spinned out of the clothes and they are left fairly wet. Is this problematic of this washer, do you have alot of problems with this model, etc?
