When turned on, water will fill tub. Begin to agitate, and quit. You have to manually bypass the agitate cycle for the water to empty and the rinse/spin to start. I am suspecting the control. From the schematic, it appears all of the cycles are incorporated into one control. Any suggestions?

Since it begins to agitate I would thorough check the wiring between the timer and the motor.
I cannot get your model number to come up, so if you need more info please check it repost.

Ok, thanks for the model number. I doubt if it is the problem, but check out the lid switch first since it is very inexpensive and the timer is not. If it is ok, and you found no problem in the wiring I would say go ahead and replace the timer. Here is a service manual for your model. http://www.servicematters.com/m...ary/docs/RS3100004R1.pdf
