My dryer, no matter where you set the knob, it could be set on 20mins or less dry or on off when ever the door is closed it makes the buzzing noise that you get at the end of a cycle nonstop. if i set it on 20mins, 30mins etc. it gets hot but it does not spin and it continues to make that buzzing noise. Please help

Here are your parts Replacement parts for MAYTAG LDE7600 | AppliancePartsPros.comI could not find any info on a LDE7600 but when the parts came up, it showed DE7600 so I am assuming these two units are the same. Here is a service manual for a DE7600 (5-23 wiring diagram) http://www.servicematters.com/m...ibrary/docs/16000132.pdfIf timer contacts 2 do not close you will get the buzzer. The bigger problem is why is it heating and the drum not turning. You may have two problems. Assuming that the buzzing is the end of cycle signal and not the motor buzzing since it cannot start for some reason. It could be that the belt is also broken. The motor has two centrifugal switches on it. Theses close when the motor gets close to operating speed. One of them switches in the heater. This ensures that the heater cannot run unless there is air flow. If it is blowing air out the exhaust the it is probably just a broken belt. |
