Our dryer recently has started making a horrible screeching noise as it runs and occassionally clothing will get stuck between the drum and frame, sometimes burning slightly. can we fix this?
it is a heavy duty, 2 cycle dryer with quiet cycle but we could not find a model #

You did not post your model # but, if you have marks like a burn streek., not a blotch it is most likely the front seal on the front, that the drum slides on. This is a pretty easy repair. That is where I would start first. Some times the rear bearing wears down and causes this condition, and you would have to replace them both. Tom
