Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/26/2008(UTC) Posts: 11		I need to check the chopper blade assembly in my Kitchenaid KUDS01IJWHO but can not remove the protector/cover part PS392941. I've removed the torx screws and the top protector shield and can not get the protector covering the chopper assembly to budge. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.

Sweet talk it a little and you may have to use a flat blade screwdriver to pry on it GENTLY to loosen it. If the torx screws are out it should lt should lift off. Use a turkey baster to remove any existing water (makes it easier to see everything) and make sure your model doesn't have a plastic clip holding it on.

I tried the turkey baster, but it's like trying to bail out a boat with holes - more water keeps coming in. I removed the screw on the left side of the cover - are there other screws on the cover itself?
